Overview

Located in Saga Prefecture, Koueigiku Shuzo is one of the most exciting "revival" breweries in the modern sake scene. After closing its doors in 2006, the brewery was famously resurrected in 2019 by passionate sake enthusiasts dedicated to crafting innovative, new-wave profiles. The "Tasogare" (Twilight) Orange perfectly embodies this bold vision. Brewed with Kitashizuku rice and bottled as a Muroka Nama Genshu (unfiltered, unpasteurized, and undiluted), it captures the raw, energetic essence of the brew straight from the tank. With an approachable 13% ABV, it is remarkably smooth and refreshing, offering a fruit-driven, high-acid experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional sake.

(Note: To preserve its vibrant freshness, this unpasteurized Nama sake must be kept refrigerated upon Arrival.)
