Tasting Notes

Senkin Classic Kame no O is part of the brewery's "classic" series—sake brewed using traditional brewing methods. It is made with 100% ancient rice Kame no O, a rare and delicate variety that requires hand cultivation and is one of the few pure rice strains left in Japan. The resulting sake is delicate, sharply refined, and pays homage to the uniquely wild flavor of Kame no O. Highly rated by renowned U.S. wine critic Robert M. Parker Jr., this sake pairs well with Japanese cuisine and can be enjoyed at various temperatures.
