Tasting Notes

Ura‑Gasanryu Koka Honjōzō, also known as "Fragrant Flower", is a limited-release sake originally reserved for local customers in Akita. This Honjōzō delivers a soft, velvety texture with a delightfully fresh, grassy-floral aroma, think wildflowers in spring fields. On the palate, it’s round and lush yet gentle, with crisp notes of white grape, melon, and lingering mint, finishing clean and refreshing.

A superb “super Honjōzō”, Ura‑Gasanryu Koka marries floral aroma with lush texture—an elegant sip that remains fresh and approachable, making it a standout in both everyday meals and elevated dining.
